Jens Lekman has shared the official video for his new single “How We Met, the Long Version.” In the video, Jens dances, sings and strums his guitar in front of a backdrop of the galaxy. It’s fitting for a song where Lekman sings about “A Cambrian explosion,” likening it to love at first sight.
“How We Met, the Long Version” is the latest track Lekman has shared from his new album, Life Will See You Now, which is currently out on Secretly Canadian/Playground Music. The song recently earned “Best New Track” honors from Pitchfork who compared it to “one of Arthur Russell’s forgotten Loose Joints bangers.”
Lekman is currently on tour in support of Life Will See You Now. Joining him on stage each night are Julia Ivansson (drums), Hanna Westberg (bass guitar) and Emelie Odelberg (keys & sampler). Many shows are selling out in advance.
